This morning, I was greeted by a little roach crawling out of a closet before I got to the locker room, where there was trash on the floor and a broken lock on the dressing room. The pool was fine but the hot tub was broken and the steam room was dirty. When I finished in the swim area, I found the hot water wasn't working in the showers. The shower floor was also covered with globs of hair. When I went to use the restroom before I left, the door lock was broken. Anyway, the male employee who works at the front desk on the weekend is personable, pleasant, and professional. Just seems to be a cleanliness and maintenance issue happening. Should be easily fixable if management sees a clean and functional gym as a good thing. Based on the reviews, not sure they do ?

Gym here is disgusting and weights are always all over the place, people never put their weights back to where it belongs. Sometimes I got around 5AM and would find homeless looking people sleeping in the reception area or in the studio room on a yoga mat. Also, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. DOES THIS PLACE EVEN HAVE PROPER EMPLOYEES?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I am absolutely disgusted with this location. The employees are quick to tell you that it's too late to buy an energy drink but not quick enough to clean up the place. Even the gym culture here is bad. I can understand misplacing a couple of weights, but for the majority of the free weights to be outta wack... SMH

This is one of the few 24fitness still open 24 hours. But at a cost. The membership starts at $9.99 which from a business point of view it makes sense but as a member it’s a big pain in the butt.
I used to go late at night and it was usually the same small crowd, people who go there to workout and go home. Nowadays I can go (even at 1am!) and I find little groups of 4,5 or 6 people hovering over the machines leaving the rest of us with little options. I work during the day and if I go to the gym late at night I really don’t want to wait or change or cut short my workout because a bunch of guys think they own the machines.

Rules Rules should be adhered to. Gym etiquette is awful here!! Staff here is not the greatest! Broken down machines, dirty mirrors, floor. This place could be so MUCH better!! Pay people more and raise prices to keep the rift raft out!!! Need new machines, cleaning over haul as well as the staff. You see the reviews on here right? Y’all need to do BETTER!!!!!!!!

One of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to. The locker rooms are filthy, the equipment is damaged, and the inconsiderate behavior of gym-goers goes unchecked. To make matters worse, the staff is largely unhelpful. It’s baffling that the San Felipe location is closing down while this one remains open.

I went to do my after-work workout at 24 Hour Fitness on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. As I was about to enter the gym, there was a drunk homeless man passed out right in front of the entrance. I went inside and told the manager. He said that he called the property management company and was told that there was nothing they could do.
I went over to the homeless man and tapped his foot with my foot telling him to wake up. I had to tap his foot several times to wake him up. I told him he needed to get up and leave.
While I was telling him to get up, some loudmouth woman started yelling at me and asking why am I doing that. I told her, "I'm trying to protect you." The manager came out and told me that I was guilty of assault.
During my workout, the manager asked for my name. The next day, I got an email from 24 Hour Fitness that my membership has been suspended for three years.
I had been a member since 2004. I guess 24 Hour Fitness management values homeless people sleeping outside their gym rather than 20-year members.
I did what the manager failed to do and that was to protect his guests. What if the homeless man started begging people for money or started harassing women?
That gym has gotten real trashy lately. Half the equipment never works and the men's restroom is disgusting.
Go ahead and let homeless people camp outside your gym, but don't come crying to me when you find yourself on the receiving end of a lawsuit when one of those homeless people attack your female guests.
UPDATE:
You never contacted me.

24 Hour Fitness has been my go-to gym for quite some time, and it has many strengths that keep me coming back. First and foremost, the convenience of 24/7 access is a game-changer. The ability to work out on my schedule, whether it's early in the morning or late at night, is a huge plus.
The gym offers a wide variety of equipment and classes to cater to different fitness goals, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facility are commendable, ensuring a pleasant workout environment.
However, there's one aspect that could use some improvement: members not re-racking their weights. While the gym provides a range of weights and machines, it can be frustrating to find dumbbells and plates scattered around. Encouraging members to follow the etiquette of re-racking their weights would greatly enhance the experience for everyone.
Despite this minor inconvenience, 24 Hour Fitness remains a reliable choice for those seeking a flexible workout schedule and a well-equipped facility. If you're someone who values uninterrupted workout time during early mornings or late evenings, this gym definitely fits the bill. With a bit of courtesy from members in re-racking weights, it could be an even more enjoyable fitness destination.
