Zero stars!! Terrible. Disappointing. Deceitful. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a stay. We booked through our Capital One Travel Card, and I was told that the price included all taxes and fees. After the trip we saw a charge for almost $300 on our credit card. I called the hotel about 10 times trying to reach someone, trying to just see a copy of my bill. The people there were no help. They couldn't even tell me what the charges were for. Until I eventually found out that they were resort fee charges. My total stay at the cottages for 3 days was only $900. So, they charged for basically an extra night for resort fees. AND we had to take out our own garbage and put our used towels in one spot for the cleaners. AND run the dishwasher for them. I am surprised they didn't ask us to strip the beds and wash the sheets ourselves too. Finally I did hear back from someone about our bill, and they said that they actually forgot to charge us for something, and so they waived that as a courtesy. Mind blown. Cannot believe they would even bring that up. Never book here. Never. And I hope a manager, or many read this, and someone reaches out to me to provide some sense of humanity and a refund of these crazy fees. But I won't hold my breath.

After a little mishap where we arrived for check in after hours for the shuttle and were told it was a fifteen minute walk; Jacob went above and beyond to keep us happy after a long flight. While I do think they should have a shuttle or means of transportation for late check ins; I KNOW they should definitely have more employees like Jacob. Kind efficient friendly! Thanks Jacob! I’m not a person to complain and tried to make the best out of the cottage we booked. The duvet in between the flat sheets were dirty and there was a stain on 1 of the pillows. Customer service was Ok. We noticed the front desk person offered EVERYONE who booked complimentary drinks and we did not get anything when Checked in. There was people near the entrance that literally HARASS you to give them your ID for “a gift “ but literally just give you Coupons. The first day we did it and then the second day I told the other reps I had done it. They insisted I give them my information, for them to tell me, “ok you received everything you qualify for”. Valet/shuttle service was great.

We had to evacuate our home due to hurricane Milton. We came to Margaritaville very stressed not knowing if we would have a home to go back to. The staff was amazing. They helped us when we had to make changes to our stay to be able to return home safely. Jackie and Katarina at the front desk were super kind and accommodating in helping with our reservations. Luckily our home made it through the storm. We had a safe comfortable place to wait it out. We will be back, but for fun the next time! Thank you for making our stressful week and great experience.

We have stayed multiple times at the cottages. Each time has been a very positive experience. We will continue to enjoy this facility every time we come to the Orlando area. Some of the people we have worked with that deserve special mention are Gloria, Maureen, Chris, and Jackie. Thank you to each and everyone of you!

Stay away from this place unless you enjoy waking up with bug bites all over you. And if that isn’t bad enough, they try charging you with unauthorized $100 charges for “damaged linens” with no proof that you actually damaged them (which we didn’t). Total money grabbing thieves. They’ll also try to rope you into a timeshare meeting as soon as you complete your check-in. I couldn’t score this place low enough.

Location was fantastic. Having our own space with two small kids and family was great. Mauricio made our day at the pool/resort AMAZING. He was considerate with the kids and quick and thoughtful all the time. If we could we would request him every time!

Jackie and Karolina served us well for our cottage check in. They were so friendly and accommodating for our group with kids and truly made check in an our first day a breeze. We appreciate their care, would recommend a stay in the cabins with a group!
