Just bought a 6 month membership here. This gym is clean, the employees are so nice, great equipment. I always get a great workout. Heart rate monitors don't work on a few of the machines and there are no fans (ceiling or floor) to move air in the cardio area and it is hot up there. Otherwise, I enjoy going to this gym.

I’ve only ever been to the pool, and it’s still great! To use any of the 3 pools (lap 7ft max, indoor 4ft6 max, and outdoor 6½ft max), you can pay $10 a person for access to all 3 pools. Thank you Fit-&-Wise!

Staff is beyond nice! Especially Trey S. Murphy gave me the tour and answered all my newbie questions. 10/10 experience. Lots of classes to choose from, basketball court, three pools, child care. Nice big clean locker rooms. Very happy so far!

My daughter was referred for PT here back in January. A week after the ice and snow still had no call from them, so I called myself. Got told they had been closed for a week and they were still playing catch up which I get. I talked to the lady who does the scheduling for PT and told her I needed a Monday morning or Thursday morning first thing in the am appointment due to my work schedule and I’m a single mom so I have to do some work around. She called me back the next day (while at work so I couldn’t answer) to let me know she had Thursday morning available. I wasn’t able to speak to her till Wednesday (not her fault at all), and told her that my schedule had changed so to someone at my work being out so I was having to work Thursday and could we schedule for another day. She got very rude with me and acted like I had just wasted her time. She said “well you told me all you could do was Thursday mornings.” I informed her again that I could do Mondays or Thursdays in the mornings. She told me she would have to check and get back with me. I never heard back from here and any attempts to call the phone went unanswered. My daughter was in pain due to a pinched nerve for weeks before I found another place in Decatur and they are amazing!!!! Was able to get her in as soon as I called and have been amazingly flexible with my work schedule. If you don’t like your job than you shouldn’t have a job where you have to interact with people all day. Being in the health care field you need to be nice and understanding as well as flexible. Don’t have that type of personality don’t do this kind of work.

Love this gym! Very clean and nice. Shemane a personal trainer gets a 5 out of 5 though! She has been amazing since I came to Fit and Wise looking to get in better shape! She's very professional, motivating and consistent in her training. Always ready and engaging helping with driving you towards your gials. Highly recommend!
Equipment is in good condition and well maintained.
Large open floor plan with upstairs and down. Also offers amazing classes and pickelball. Also wet and dry saunas, nice locker room and pool!
Downfalls in my opinion are that the temperature is way to chilly, especially upstairs. And the music selection. If that improved it would be definitely get 5 stars.

I’ve been in therapy with these guys for 7wks now. It has changed my life. I have a complete spinal fusion so different spots ache at different times. Juan my therapist has been quick to listen and address my pain and successfully and relieve my pain. They are on time and a clean facility.

Bought a membership here last week for $55 a month. I got it to play basketball and swim in the lap pools. Today I went by and the gyms are essentially closed all day (wasted trip) last time I came the gym was open but they shut the pool down for a swim meet. They’re bringing in a huge membership fee while also renting the facilities out seemingly every hour of the day so you can’t even use them. I won’t be renewing even though there isn’t another option in town. If you’re going to charge that much for a membership then at the VERY LEAST the facilities should be available to your MEMBERS. This is frustrating and I’ve wasted time driving up here just to be turned away when I get there. QUIT RENTING OUT THE FACILITIES THAT MEMBERS PAY FOR!!!! Horrible business, don’t advertise a pool and a gym if they’re just going to be closed off to members.
