I was surprised on how much equipment was available also that all of the equipment was clean, functional nothing out of service. Mixture of free weights and machines. The atmosphere reminds me of what gyms use to be in the past. Nothing you don't need and everything you do is here. The age group of people i saw today was from mid 20is to 70ish. Everyone was polite,and cleaned up after themselves. Cleaning supplies were plentiful and all around.

Enjoyed our initial visit to the Hammerhead Gym this morning. Wasn't too busy around 8am. Only issue was the mistake with my wife's email on sign up but was quickly resolved. Think we're going to enjoy our monthly membership.

Love this gym it's a hidden Gem ? I was in town from California for a week. Chose this gym to maintain my fitness ?. Nico was awesome, and made me feel very welcomed. Me, the wife and daughter got awesome workouts. Loved the hardcore gym feel. Awesome equipment and staff. "I'll be back"

Just moved to the Cape and tried out almost every gym before committing to this one. The classes are great, the staff is friendly, the facilities are clean, and there’s 24/7 code access. I was displaced here due to hurricane helene, and Josie went out of her way to make me feel welcome and really put out that community gym vibe I was looking for! This gym has everything you need to get your body where you want it to be!

P.S. This gym also does CrossFit, and Taylor was such a patient and informative trainer. I would highly recommend her to help you reach your fitness goals!

My wife and I have been working out at Hammerhead Gym for over seven months now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. If you're looking for a welcoming, clean, and non-crowded gym, this is the place for you.

First off, the atmosphere is unbeatable. The staff at Hammerhead Gym are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist or answer any questions. One of the highlights of our visits is getting to see Kayce, the gym’s adorable dog, who walks around saying hello to everyone. Kayce adds a special, homey touch to the gym experience, making it feel less like a chain and more like a community.

One of the biggest advantages Hammerhead has over the big corporate gyms, like Esporta and Planet Fitness, is that it’s never overcrowded. There’s always plenty of space to work out, and we’ve never had to wait around for equipment. This makes it easy to stick to a workout routine and focus on getting the most out of our time at the gym.

Another huge plus is how clean the gym is. The equipment is well-maintained, and the staff clearly prioritize cleanliness and organization, which makes for a comfortable workout environment.

In short, Hammerhead Gym offers everything we could want in a fitness facility—friendly staff, a welcoming community vibe, a cute gym dog, cleanliness, and most importantly, plenty of space to work out without the crowd. If you’re looking for a gym in Cape Coral, we highly recommend Hammerhead Gym. You won’t regret it!

If you don’t know if you will enjoy to go to the gym because you don’t want to sign up for some long term and you’re not sure if you’re going to like it. well, they figure that one out. Hammerhead Gym has a wonderful daily or weekly option. You can come for a couple days or a couple weeks. Read the rest review to see the options offered.

The gym has lots of new equipment.

The air conditioning seems better than when it was Gulf Coast gym. The membership options are unique. I’ve never seen it before. This is It a great feature ❗️

You can choose to come in for one day for $12. Maybe you’re a vacation. or maybe you just wanna try it out for a few days to see if you like it. They have the right plan for you. You can a weekly pass for only $25. If you’re a local resident like myself, you may choose the monthly option. The monthly option is only $40 a month. then if you just here for the winter, how perfect is this.

There’s no yearly contract just the three options.

So if you live up north and you leave for the summer. You just don’t pay for those couple months. No cancellation fees. Very unique❗️lLove the concept. It’s such a delight to work out here.

I am a senior citizen that lives in Cape Coral who used to go to the old Gulf coast fitness. located in downtown Cape Coral right across from the McDonald’s restaurant . That was before hurricane Ian destroyed the place. After the hurricane the place they had to get it, replaced the roof and rebuild it. Now it is so fresh because we built it and they have the new roof. It looks like lots of new equipment and some flooring. I mean there’s some older things there, but by and large it is all new. It’s just so pleasant to have a gym to go that is close to my house. And their options‼️ I really hope that we can keep this business going. We lost our DYI ice cream yogurt place because it wasn’t supported by the community. We can’t afford to do that to our small businesses. we can’t have just condominiums in big corporations in our downtown. Let’s all chip in and do our part to keep our town the best place in Florida, and that small town feel.

know something about me. I don’t know who owns this place. I’m just a senior citizen who used to go to the Gulf Coast gym and really enjoyed keeping in shape. It was a lovely place to meet people and get out and do something. Since hurricane Ian I’ve gotten fat and lazy. My joints hurt. My back hurts, and I’m not a strong I have not gone to the gym because everything is either too expensive are too far away. I didn’t want to sign up for $600 for the gym close to us, not knowing whether or not I would go. anyways, this is not a bias if you buy a family member just buy a happy old lady ?
