Was visiting the area and stayed here. Service was great! Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and made the experience memorable. There was a woman who was always there in the mornings who even personalized my experience there.

Hotel overall was clean and had all of the amenities you may need even if they're not the latest and greatest. Their gym was actually pretty well equipped. I was expecting only a treadmill and maybe an elliptical like most hotels at this price point, but they had free weights and other machines as well.

The only reason why they didn't receive a full 5 stars is that the beds were a bit old and not comfortable - but to each their own. That definitely won't deter me from staying here again.

I have stayed at this hotel before and I have no complaints. Clean and service is great! I work in Dallas and commute in frequently and I got a flat tire today and the very nice receptionist let me sit in the lobby while I waited for assistance. Offered me coffee and a restroom. I don’t know her name but I would definitely stay here again and if you have a flat near by know they will let you hang out. Haha Thank you holiday inn! 🙂

The beds are so comfortable, and the pillows are nice and fluffy! They look very clean, sheets nice and white. Staff is friendly. The place is always clean. They have a restaurant in the lobby. Never ordered anything, though. They have plenty of places to eat surrounding the hotel. Right of the service road, so be careful not to miss your turn in. It's easy to miss, speaking from experience.

Hotel facilities including common areas, pool, and gym are clean and well maintained. Room was very clean with fresh bed linen and spotless bathroom. The hotel breakfast was basic and ample to get the morning started. Parking signage is weird but asking the front desk staff for directions was easy. Quiet pleasant stay.

As a President and Diamond Elite Member of IHG, I have stayed in countless IHG Hotels around the world, many of them within the US and others in Venezia, IT, London, UK, Paris, FR, Munich, GR, Beirut, Lebanon, etc. I never felt at home until I stayed multiple times and for a week at the Holiday Inn, Richardson, TX.
If you want to stay in a Hotel, I recommend selecting this one from the IGH web page, Holiday Inn Richardson, TX. Try to get there during the morning shift and ask for Maggi, a great Lady at the front counter with excellent Customer Service; she will do her best to make you feel at home.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the poor customer service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a lack of hospitality and understanding from the front desk staff.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk person was extremely rude and unhelpful. Despite my attempts to seek assistance, they refused to provide me with their name and seemed unwilling to resolve my issues.

As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of service and respect. Sadly, my experience fell far short of these expectations. I did not feel welcome or valued as a guest, and I was disappointed by the lack of effort to address my concerns.

I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to improve the customer service at your hotel. I would appreciate a response regarding the actions you will take to address this issue. This occurred on 1/1/25 at 11 pm

The only aspect that fell short was the inadequate climate control and airflow in the hallways and main lobby, creating an unpleasantly warm atmosphere beyond the confines of individual rooms. Nevertheless, the venue's amenities and layout are well-suited for wedding events, and the breakfast provided was of good quality. I will not take stars for personal feelings because the overall supersedes my comfort everywhere else since I'm not trying to stay in the hallways. Good job IHG. All your staff was accommodating and very friendly.

Stayed 2 nights due to icy weather. Had to redo my check in as it didn't go thru the first time. Hair dryer didn't work. Got another. Sink wouldn't drain. Had some horrific dope head stinking up the 3rd floor with their pot. Reported it as its a non smoking hotel and I had to drag my butt outside! I sent an email to the VP. I'll see if he responds.
It was fairly clean tho, and two of the 3 desk staff I interacted with were very nice. I'd stay there again.
