This resort is amazing. We have stayed in the 3 and 4 bedroom units and there is so much space for our family. The beds are comfortable to sleep in, it is wonderful having a full kitchen and laundry in the unit, and the bathrooms are so luxurious with their big jacuzzi tubs and heated floors. Our kids loved hanging out in the game room with the three TVs they were able to play games together on, my wife and I enjoyed the fitness center to get some exercise, and it was nice getting a cookie every day at 4 PM.

However, there were some big issues that keep me from giving this resort a 5-star rating. First, the Internet is terrible and since it is so slow, you will often have issues trying to stream videos to the TV or just watching a show will leave you disappointed because it will frequently glitch. You'd think for being so expensive they'd be able to provide decent WIFI (my phone was WAY faster). The furniture (couch and chairs) in the living rooms is no comfortable to sit in. Heck, I preferred sitting at the dinning room table because those chairs or bench were more comfortable to sit in. Finally, we were constantly fighting with the stupid thermostat to stay off or stay at a lower temperature. Every night I'd wake up sweating because the heater would turn itself on and make my sleep unpleasant. I'd turn it off, get back in bed, and it would immediately turn back on. I'd turn it down to the lowest 66 degrees and soon it would go back to 70 degrees. It was very frustrating.

Overall, this resort is amazing and has everything you'd want in a luxury stay. It is nice and close to the Vail ski resort and within walking distance of places to eat at. I am excited to stay here again, I just wish my small complaints didn't exist.

After coming to the ritz annually for years, we found the service for the rooms (cleaning mainly) to be not up to par. The room temp was set to heat and our bedrooms were very warm every night. The living/dining and patio were perfect and we loved the view and our condo.|Be sure to ask for a fan and a humidifier. |We love Vail and the Ritz—

The Ritz-Carlton, Vail, exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and offer stunning views of the mountains. The location is perfect for easy access to the slopes and a very short walk into the Lionshead Village. Our stay was truly memorable, and we can’t wait to return.

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton over the weekend, from Valet thru check out, we had a wonderful stay, and were very impressed with the hotel and all the staff. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable.

Scott Muff, Concierge, checked us in, we were early so left our bags and walked to the Village. When we later got to our room, on the table was a bottle of wine and a card. We had mentioned our trip to Italy 2 weeks before, Scott remembered and created this amazing card for us! Thank you, Scott! You're very thoughful and a wonderful artist!

They have fresh, delicious chocolate chip cookies every day at 4pm, and a whiskey toast to the 10th Mountain Division at 5pm, so we stayed for both, talking with Chef Carlos Soto, who we asked to recommended restaurants for dinner and breakfast. We took his advice and had great meals at both Montauk and Vintage.

We left our phone charger in the car, so stopped by the front desk and they had one of the Valets bring it to our room. Thank you!

They also offer a convenient shuttle, which we took advantage of once and really appreciated!

When we got home and unpacked, found we left a cashmere sweater (that we'd just gotten in Italy) in the closet, and Eric helped locate it and is sending it to us. Thank you, Eric!

Wonderful property and staff! We look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful property in Lionshead, Vail. Easy, comfortable stay with great service. We enjoyed the complementary shuttle service and lounge area. Our two bedroom suite was very spacious and great for a group of 4 to share.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The manager had a terrible attitude and treated us very badly. From the moment we arrived, he was rude and unhelpful. We tried to address some issues we found in the room, but he simply ignored our concerns and was even aggressive in his responses. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel before. I do not recommend this place to anyone and hope they improve their customer service in the future.|His name is Zach Penland.

The front desk fellow was less than enthusiastic, almost seemed annoyed he had to check us in; bad day ? Everyone else we encountered was very professional, friendly & very helpful when needed? The evening toast to the 10th Mountain Division was very heartwarming each evening. Don’t miss the video about the 10th at the Snowsports Museum & Hall of Fame, free admission.

Expected more from a Ritz for service. Front desk is not knowledgeable. Bar is rarely attended to. I never witnessed the 5 o’clock toast and the 4 o’clock cookies were never available past 4:10. Not sure why there isn’t more provided based on occupancy. Pool is not serviced with food or beverage. Worst part is the screaming kids. Signage says no yelling and no one at the property maintains this or adheres. Disappointing.
