Pros:
The gym is cheap, conveniently close to my house, and rarely crowded. It's mostly an older crowd that exercises there, so you don't have to fight for machines like in larger, nicer gyms. They also seem to have a vibrant racket ball community, if that is your thing. Those are the main positives in my opinion.

Cons:
Unfortunately, you can tell that apathy is the governing principle of the gym. The equipment is outdated, often broken, worn-down, missing, etc. Many machines were seemingly created before modern understandings of exercise science, and are thus poorly aligned for proper form. The locker rooms are dark and dingy. There is a layer of filth on everything. Some staff are friendly (e.g., Robin), but others are mostly terse and indifferent. Particularly there is an older gentleman that works there that can be frustrating to deal with (don't know his name). For example, their operating times aren't posted anywhere, and he shut the lights off on me and told me they were closed while I was mid-lift without any warning (e.g., coming around and saying "we close in 10 minutes"). Although their website boasts 20,000 square feet of space, the actual rooms with equipment are cramped and machines are often positioned close to walls, making it difficult to properly use them.

Overall: If you are a serious lifter or can afford to go elsewhere, I recommend you do so. For those with more modest fitness goal, the place is fine for a cheap place to exercise.

I wanted to take a moment to express my thoughts on my recent experiences at Tournament House Gym. In short, I am thoroughly impressed with this fitness facility.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who made me feel welcome and valued as their guest. The gym is exceptionally well-maintained.

The variety of exercise equipment and the ease of access to the racquetball courts is awesome.

In conclusion, Tournament House Gym has exceeded my expectations in terms of both facilities and customer service. I look forward to continuing my visits to the gym.

Definitely recommend this place! All my friends and acquaintances have come here over the years and thrived due to their training, and their instructors most of all. Robin is a standup guy I recommend you speak to him he’ll tell you everything you want to know even give you a tour, unfortunately, I ran into some troubles today I’m in a strong weight cut. I have two gym passes I’m a full-time student and my backpack is always filled with supplements and I asked the guy if he could type my name in because I had just come from school and walked all the way over here and already taking my supplements, and I had to pull them all out just to do so. He laughed in my face and stared at me for a few minutes, and refused to do so and I told him plan his day. Have a blessed day, my friend maybe you’re having a bad day maybe have some impairments I struggle with many things, especially mental health that I’ve gotten over recently, which has brought me to where I am at now, it’s just surprising how it was such a good humor to him for his day but that’s all right. If you have any problems, I’d recommend you speak directly to Robin don’t mind anyone else. It’s a great gym to be at and I’ll be continuing to go, but as far as the staff is concerned, we should be for more mindful of our athletes, and those were trying to be in bodybuilding. Again, I’ll be praying the older gentleman. No hard feelings, 🙂

My new favorite gym in Riverside. It's an older place and the owner is still recovering from the pandemic closures. Still, this is my kinda place. Very quiet

Update: Been here over a year now. Still a great gym. So glad they're here.
